- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, has a supply requirement for five different types of shipping/storage containers for long-term storage of SP-22 TRIDENT Launcher System Hardware as follows: (1) Vertical Support Group, Drawing (53711-6234585), 36 Each. (2) Cooling Chamber, Drawing (53711-5495322), 36 Each. (3) Dummy Closure, Drawing (53711-6235559), 36 Each. (4) Umbilical Retractor, Drawing (53711-5945924), 36 Each. (5) Standpipe, Drawing (53711-6235044), 24 Each. A source inspection will be required by Government personnel at the contractor facility prior to shipment. Delivery will be FOB Destination to NSWC Crane, IN.This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and all responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration. The solicitation will be issued under the Test program IAW FAR 13.5 using commercial procedures. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure any supplies. The POC is Mr. Christopher Good, Code 0564EG, at (812) 854-4313 or by email at: christopher.r.good@navy.mil. Submitting a bid from the NECO web site by clicking on the "Submit Bid" does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person or in the correct format. It is the responsibility of Offerors to download the RFP and applicable drawings and submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane to be considered. Drawings are available on Federal Business Opportunities and http://www.crane.navy.mil/tfp/homepage.asp (additional drawings) to contractors who are registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and who are certified under the Joint Certification Program.
