Description

The US Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for the upgrade of a Digital Electronics Unit (DEU) to the current L3 Datron Communications 10-Meter DEU. This product is known to be available only from L3 Datron Communications as the only creator of the product because L3 Datron Communications is the manufacturer of the current 10-Meter DEU. The USGS is aware of no other source that can provide an upgrade to the current unit which was designed and manufactured by L3 Datron Communcations. Therefore, it intends to make an award to L3 Datron Communications, unless it is contacted by any vendor who believes he can provide the same product. Vendors are invited to contact the Contracting Officer, vfloyd@usgs.gov no later than 09/18/2009, by 2pm EST with an affirmative answer.
