Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) 5.1.2.12, Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement to contract services to supplement the in-flight tanking support at NAWCAD Patuxent River, MD. This acquisition will provide contractor owned and operated aircraft to support NAWCAD RDT&E projects, United States Navy (USN) Fleet customers, other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases for aerial refueling. (FSC: V121 and NAICS: 488190) This is planned to be a sole source requirement with Omega Air Refueling Services, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement. The Government, for determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement, will consider all capability statements received in response to this note. All responses are due by 9/30/09, 2:00pm (Local Eastern Time). The government reserves the right to process this procurement as a sole source based on the response received.
