- Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska has a requirement for 57 SIB-type airfield sweeper brush cassettes manufactured by Svenska. Part number is SIB/MB-18/28-05. This is a brand-name only request--these are the only known brush cassettes that fit the installed SIB-type cores. Substitutes will not be considered. The NAICS code is 423120; size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation, FA5000-09-R-0051, will be issued as unrestricted. The solicitation will be issued on or about 18 September 2009 with a closing date on or about 22 September 2009. This acquisition is conducted under simplified commercial procedures according to FAR Parts 12 and 13. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (http://www.ccr.gov/) and complete on-line representations and certifications (https://orca.bpn.gov/) to be eligible for award. Upon issue, the RFP will be available on the internet at the Federal Business Opportunities web site (http://www.fbo.gov). These sites are also accessible through the Business Partner Network at http://www.bpn.gov/. A paper solicitation will not be issued and all documents related to this acquisition will be posted on FedBizOpps.
