- SSAEM RFI # 2 Space Situational Awareness Environmental Monitoring (SSAEM) The Defense Meteorological Satellite Group (DMSG), on behalf of the United States Air Force, would like to thank the companies who responded to the Request For Information (RFI) dated 7 April 2009 (Sol. # 04072009). We reviewed all the information and performed detailed analyses leading to a more focused approach in the pursuit of a concept for SSAEM. As a result, we would like to further explore the opportunities for the development of a platform(s) dedicated to the SSAEM mission. As a follow-on to Sol. # 04072009, the United States Air Force is seeking additional information from interested parties to address platform and delivery systems for collecting space environmental parameters, given a suite of Government Furnished Property (GFP) sensors.
