Description

DISA/DITCO, intends to issue a sole source contract to BAE Systems Information Technology Inc.., 8201 Greensboro Dr #1200, McLean, VA 22102-3810. This acquisition is for renewal of BAE XTS STOP OS Software Maintenance. The software being maintained is proprietary and protected by copyright laws. No third party maintenance is authorized. Period of performance is 01 Oct 2009 through 30 Sep 2010. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304( c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance renewal must complete the solicitation, HC1013-09-T-2289 available at http://www.fbo.gov/. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The NAICS code is 541519 for this procurement. Only BAE products can fulfill the customer's need, and no other products will be accepted. A justification detailing this will be posted to FBO at a later date.
