Description
UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE IN HOUSTON, TX The United States Government intends to award a succeeding lease, using other than full and open competition to Offers for the USDA-FDA in Houston Texas. The lease will be for 11,010 rentable square feet of fully serviced space for a firm term of ten (10) years, five (5) years firm with forty four(44) parking spaces available at no additional cost to the government. The Government is interested in considering alternate space only if it is economically advantageous. This economic determination will include the cost of move, alterations, internal material handling, internal operations, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. It has been determined that a succeeding lease will result in less cost to the federal government when the economics of the cost of relocation including the replacement of furniture, telecommunications, tenant improvements, and above standard alterations are considered. The proposed space must be located within the following delineated area: One the West 610 Loop from I-10 north and east along the North 610 Loop West to I-45 The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and must be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than May 1, 2010 All expressions of interest submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence of authorization to represent the building’s ownership. In no event shall the Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of any Federal agency other than the General Services Administration (GSA) Contracting Officer or their authorized broker representative, CB Richard Ellis.
