- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT ** This is an unfunded requirement. The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews AFB, Maryland, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Pauli Systems, located at 1820 Walters Court, Fairfield, California 94533 to acquire Retrofit Floor Media Recovery System part number #250-050-26 and spare parts kit number # 360-060-25. This requirement is for upgrades to the existing blast booth, used for removal of corrosion from all assigned support equipment to Aero Space Ground Equipment (AGE), which was specifically designed and installed by Pauli Systems to support the 89th Maintenance Group, Andrews AFB, MD. This requirement also includes a structral repair work center for the removal and re-application of anti-corrosion coatings to all assigned AGE equipment. The contract will result in a firm fixed price purchase order. Negotiation will be conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
