- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District is soliciting quotes for Lock and Dam 5 Dewatering, Electrical Distribution Supplies Contract. (ii) The solicitation number for this effort is W912ES-09-T-0075 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, and evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The requirements are for various electrical distribution supplies, which are explained in the Requirements/Scope of Work and in each of the five (5) line items. The Contractor must quote a unit price times quantity = total for each line item listed. Awards will be made to the offeror with the ability to fulfill the aggregate of the requirements. The resultant contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract awarded to the lowest priced offer. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification Codes (NAICS) is 423610 and the business size standard is 100 employees. Deliverables and acceptance of deliverables will be FOB Destination. Shipment destination address and shipping point of contact is: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fountain City Service Base, Attn: Bryan Peterson, 431 North Shore Drive, Fountain City, WI. 54629. The delivery date is NLT 15 OCT 2009. This synopsis/solicitation incorporates one or more clauses and provisions by reference with the same force and effect as if they were stated in full text. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) located at www.ccr.gov prior to contract award.
