Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigations intends to award a sole source purchase order to Safeware, Inc., 5641 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1b, Only One Source Reasonable Available. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for 50 Environics CHEMPRO 100i handheld chemical detector and 50 CHEMPRO 100RDM radiation detector modules. Technical Specifications: 1. ChemPro 100i with al available and updated libraries. 2. Detector must use an orthogonal method of chemical detection 3. Must be lightweight and handheld (under 4lb.s) 4. Should be able to manipulate the controls with one hand. 5. Radiation detector modules. 6. Lithium battery and charging system 7. Alkaline adapter system. 8. Field monitoring cap. 9. Training manual with vendor support 10. Pelican style protective case This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit quotes to this Rhonda Williams by 1:00 PM, EST, Monday, September 21, 2009, via email at Rhonda.Williams@ic.fbi.gov. Quotes shall be accepted by email only. No other methods of submission will be accepted. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Parts 12 and 13. All contractors anticipating award, must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
