- Polycom VTC Brand Name Justification Polycom VTC - Item Listing (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation, FA2517-09-R-5015, is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). (iii) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36. (iv) This procurement is procured as brand name, full and open competition. The NAICS code is 423430, computer and computer peripheral equipment and software merchant wholesalers, and the size standard is 100 employees. A single award will be made as a result of evaluation of proposals. (v) The following commercial items are requested. (Please see attachment “Polycom VTC – Item Listing”) (vi) This requirement is for Polycom VTC equipment. (vii) All items listed shall be priced and delivery be FOB destination to Peterson AFB, CO and required delivery is 30 days ARO (After Receipt of Order). (viii) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items (Jun 2008). All firms must be registered in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil at time of proposal submittal. DUNS, Cage Code, tax ID, terms and conditions shall be submitted with proposal. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award. The Government is not providing contract financing for this requirement. (ix) FAR 52.212-2(a) Evaluation—Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on low price meeting brand name requirements. (x) The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification—Commercial Items (Aug 2009), is applicable to this acquisition. All vendors shall be registered in Online Representations and certifications (ORCA) (https://orca.bpn.gov)) at the time of Proposal submittal. (xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Mar 2009), applies to the acquisition. (xii) The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (Deviation) (Jun 2009) applies to this acquisition.
