CONTACT INFORMATION ISWITHIN THE BODY OF THIS NOTICE.********THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO 1 to NNM09310090Q TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR25000 GALLON HORIZONTAL VACUUM INSULATED LIQUID NITROGEN LN2 STORAGE TANK. Companiesshall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the officialamendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to answer submitted questions.1. QUESTIONParagraph two of the description calls for a product that is the same or equal toChart/HS-26500SC-50. Can you provide details on what this is referencing? ANSWERThe Chart/HS26500SC-50 is a commercially available 26,500 gallon gross, 25000 gallon netvacuum insulated LN2 vessel. It meets or exceeds the specifications that are attached inthe original solicitation at the FEDBIZOPPS website. 2. QUESTIONCan the tank be pre-manufactured and installed/erected on site? ANSWERThere are no provisions for erecting the vessel on site. It will be shipped completed andinstalled by others.3. QUESTIONCan the vessel be received via waterway? ANSWERYes, the vessel can be received via the dock at the Redstone Arsenal on the TennesseeRiver.This is a one-time question and answer period, no other questions will be taken.The due date for receipt of offers is 9/25/2009 4:00 p.m. CST.Contact Janet Appleton at janet.l.appleton@nasa.gov or fax to 256-544-8712Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 9/14/2009.
