Description

This acquisition will be solicited to establish a Firm Fixed Contract to include a 100% Quantity Option covering NSN 1270-00-578-0536, Helm Sight Assembly. The requirement is authorized by Purchase Request 0023483857 and will be solicited as unrestricted. The purchase request is for a quantity of 42 each. The acquisition is a source controlled item and the approved source is L-3 Communications Corporation (06401), part number 2251773-00 and is in accordance with drawing number 209-071-142. FOB Destination and Inspection/Acceptance Destination are required. Delivery of 315 days will be requested. Configuration Control applies and this item is defined as critical, however this NSN is not on the Critical Safety Item (CSI) list. This requirement is for DLA Direct (stock ship to DDSP New Cumberland, PA). This is not a commercial off the shelf item. Progress payments clauses will not be requested since the criteria set forth in FAR 32.5 have not been met. ABVS provisions will be included in the solicitation. Subcontracting plan and cost and pricing data will be required since the criteria set forth in FAR 19.7 and 15.403 have been met.
