Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91YTV-10-T-M295. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 334510; the Standard Industrial Classification Code is 6515; and the small business size standard is 500.Purchase requisition W33M8S9274M295. The US Army Medical Command Southeast Region has a requirement for a Maintenance and Service Agreement for a Siemens Apogee Insight System for a Certek BSL 3 Lab. Four quarters service and maintenance for a Certek BSL3 Lab. The BSL 3 Laboratory requires maintenance support for the Siemens Building Management System (Siemens Apogee Insight System) that runs the BSL3 laboratory. The required work will be as follows: Contractor will be on site within 4 hours for emergency for critical component failures 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Contractor will be on site within 8 hours for noncritical repairs 24 hours a day 7 days a week. All repair and replacement parts and labor for equipment are to be included in the service contract, and Dwight D.Eisenhower Army Medical Center will not be required to pay any extra fees for support of Siemens equipment associated with the BSL3. Contractor will calibrate HVAC controls as required to insure optimal performance and will provide periodic maintenance of the Siemens hardware and software such as Insight workstation components, field hardware, data protection/data recovery and calibration services. Companies that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for consideration for future requirements.
