- The Mission Installation Contracting Center - East at Fort McPherson, GA intends to procure on a sole source basis with Ambient Sound 75 New England Way, Warwick, RI 02886. The NACIS code for this requirement is 334310 the standards in number of employees is 750. The product to be purchased is Audio/Video System and Installation to be installed into conference room as part of the current second expansion to the United States Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory. This equipment will consist of separate control, display, video and audio systems with additional instructors display, all racks and hardware including cable assemblies. This equipment will be completely compatible with and able to communicate with that which is used in existing conference rooms. Additionally, presentations will be able to be displayed and viewed in any combination of these conference rooms or each room will be segregated for individual meetings, training courses or for video tele conferencing. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the product that will satisfy the Governments requirements. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. No multiple awards will be made. All responses received within three (3) days of the date of this publication (by 2:30 pm, Tuesday, September 22, 2009) for this advertisement will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
