Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). Attached is Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N63394-09-T-0156. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-26 and DFARS Change Notice 20080722. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm The NAICS code is 335312 and the Small Business Standard is 1000 Employees. This combined synopsis/solicitation is sole source. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The NavalSurface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Port Hueneme, CA requests responses from qualified sources in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition procedures. Any firms believing that they can provide these parts, per part number may submit a written response to be recived at the Contracting Officer no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this note. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the part without causing programmatic hardships. -------- NECESSARY SERVICE, LABOR AND MATERIAL FOR THE VENDOR TO PROVIDE THREE (3) EA UPGRADE/REPAIR OF SLIP RINGS ASSYS 5517860 TO REV FLIP RING ASSEMBLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF WORK ATTACHED. STATEMENT OF WORK 1.Slip Ring Assembly (53711) 5517860, Vendor Part Number (99932) AC2607-4, is proprietary to Moog Inc Components Group of Blacksburg, VA, alias Litton Poly-Scientific Corporation. 2.Repair, Upgrade and Test MK 10 MOD 0 Slip Ring Assembly 5517860 (AC2607-4) to Rev "F". 3.Engrave or steel stamp Ordnance Alteration (ORDALT) numbers 9609, 16262 and 16283 on ORDALT Plate 8-Z-1131-16 and affix to Slip Ring Assemblies in accordance with drawing 5517860 Rev "F". 4.Affix Identification Plate 5517563-038 to Slip Ring Assemblies in accordance with drawing 5517860 Rev "F". 5.Seal each Slip Ring Assembly (inside the shipping crate) with Barrier Material MIL-PRF-81705D, Type 1, Class 1.
