Description
RECOVERY--The US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District has a requirement for two multi-beam echo sounder systems. This action is being funded by funds available under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009. Specifications: R2Sonic Sonic 2024 Multi Beam Echo-Sounder, Reson SeaBat 7125, or equal, Total number of 2 to be purchased, Salient Characteristics: 1. Operating Frequencies 200 KHz and 400 KHz. 2. Across track beam width of 0.5 degree at 400 KHz and 1 degree at 200 KHz. 3. Multi-beam Swath coverage of at least 125 degrees 4. Maximum depth of at least 300 meters at 200 KHz. 5. Technical support and training available locally to our Jacksonville and Tampa operations. Include (5) days total for initial training and equipment installation. 6. Back-up system available if repairs to our systems are required. 7. Compatible with Hypack (data collection and processing software). 8. Snippets Imagery Output option for each system. 9. Online sound velocity probe for each system. 10. Extended warranty to total 3 year warranty period. This action is 100% Set Aside for Small Business under NAICS code 334511. The Size standard for this NAICS code is 750 Employees or less to be a small business. Prior to contract award, the successful bidder must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) online database, and must also complete the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA).
