- Description:REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) - FA8770-09-Q-0035. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is included in this announcement. HQ 554th Electronic Systems group, Contract Execution Branch C (HQ554 ELSG/PKC at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio intends to negotiate a competitive Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Expeditionary Combat support System (ECSS) to purchase Informatica PowerCenter 8.0 B2B Data Interchange, Informatica data quality, annual maintenance, and address standardization for Informatica Data Quality with an annual subscription for updates. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36, effective 10 Sep 2009 and cla! ss deviation 12009-O0011. THIS ACQUISITION IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This acquisition will be set-aside for small business resellers of Informatica software. Pursuant to the Small Business Act (15-USC 637) the Small Business Administration has accepted this acquisition for competition. This solicitation/synopsis incorporates by reference the following clauses: FAR 52.204-7, 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.214-4, and 52.212.5, and DFARS 252.204-7004 Alternate A. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 541511 has been designated for this requirement. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under NAICS 541511 with a size standard of $25,000,000.00. This acquisition will also be a sole source acquisition for Informatica software restricted to small business resellers of Informatica PowerCenter 8.0 Standard edition, B2B data Interchange, Informatica Data Quality, annual maintenance, and address standardization for Informatica Data Quality with an annual subscription for u! pdates. Licenses are based upon Sun Solaris 4 dual core CPU server (8 cores) for 1 Test/Development Environments. Maintenance includes 7x24 support and all updates, upgrades, and bug fixes. Informatica will be used to support data cleansing efforts within Expeditionary Combat Support System (ECSS) Program Management Office. The period of performance is for one year and four options that span 12 months per option for software maintenance and an annual subscription. All offerors must quote all items or none. EVALUATION PROCEDURES. The Government will select the best value offer, based upon an integrated assessment of Mission Capability/Proposal Risk and Cost/Price, which offer conforms to the solicitation's requirements to include all stated terms, conditions, and all other information required in this solicitation, and which offeror is deemed responsible.
