- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE IN DETROIT, MI STAR #: 9MI2182 The United States Government seeks to lease contiguous office and related space in Detroit, MI. The space offered must consist of approximately 3,260 rentable square feet, yielding a minimum of approximately 2,500 to a maximum of 2,835 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet. The Government will require one (1) reserved structured parking space onsite, and the lease must be fully serviced. DELINEATED AREA: The proposed space must be located within the following delineated area: Northern Boundary: Michigan Avenue (US Highway 12) between Cass Avenue and Woodward Avenue Western Boundary: From the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Cass Avenue, South to Congress Street, East on Congress to Washington Boulevard, then South on Washington Boulevard to Larned Street Southern Boundary: From the intersection of Larned Street and Washington Boulevard, East on Larned Street to Woodward Avenue Eastern Boundary: From the intersection of Larned Street and Woodward Avenue, North on Woodward Avenue to the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Woodward Avenue LEASE TERM: The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges after five (5) years. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for occupancy no later than October 1, 2010. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Life Safety and Handicapped Accessibility, and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABBAS) Requirements. The proposed building must allow magnetometers and allow armed security service at the entrance to the building or to the floor of the space proposed. Owners, brokers or agents may offer space for consideration. All expressions of interest submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence of authorization to represent the building’s ownership.
