- The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotes to provide all necessary labor to perform autopsy assistant services on an "as needed" basis for the Hines VA Hospital, Hines, IL and the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Chicago, IL. Contract Period of Performance will be from October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010, with four (4) one year option renewal periods. Option periods are exercised at the sole discretion of the Government. Contract type is firm-fixed unit price. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical capability to perform services, and past performance. The Government anticipates award of a commercial service contract to the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. All small businesses who believe they can satisfy this requirement are invited and encouraged to provide an offer. The small business size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 621399 is $7.0 million. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and to submit all requested documentation as listed in the instructions to offerors. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about September 22, 2009. Date for receipt of offers is September 28, 2009 at 12:30 P.M. CT.
