Description

Under the authority of FAR 6, subpart 6.302, the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center Augusta, GA (VISN 7), contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Chemsearch, 414 Heil Drive, North Augusta, SC. Chemsearch will provide a lease, full maintenance, and emergency repair on four (4) of their Sewer Biogenerators Model 8377 at the VA Medical Center Augusta, GA. The Performance Period will be October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010 with 4 one-year options years to renew. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811219 with a standard size of $7.0 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 3 days after publication of this synopsis. Interest parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements to the Contracting Officer or by fax at478-274-5609. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Solicitation will be issued on or about September 23, 2009. This procurement is subject to the availability of FY 2010 Funds.
