- Notice of Intent - Sole Source Date Posted:09/23/2009 Closing Date: 09/28/2009 1 PM The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Grand Junction Colorado, intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36, August 11, 2009. The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 811219 and the size standard is $7.0 M. The government has determined that General Electric Medical Systems is the only source that can satisfy this agency requirement. The requirement is for Provide Preventative Maintenance, Calibration, and Repair according to Manufacturer Specifications and Requirements for General Electric Medical Systems X-Ray equipment. Equipment includes: 870242VARM4 GE X-RAY Tilt C R&F System, X-Ray tubes coverage, 303242 VARM3 GE X-RAY ADVANTX R&F room plus X-Ray tubes coverage, OEC861366 X-RAY OEC 6800 Mini view C-Arm Plus X-ray tubes, and 970242 VAAMX- X-Ray AMX mobile X-ray System plus X-Ray tube coverage. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, and Grand Junction Colorado. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Any company that feels they have items that meet the needs of the Government must submit their technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim. The information must explain the company's ability to overcome propriety information. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
