Description
NASA/GSFC has a requirement for two (2) Temperature Chambers with the followingspecifications:**Chamber One (1)**-Interior workspace dimensions of 25.1H x 20.5W x 19.6D-New Graphite Grey powdercoat-208V/30A-L-N2 cooling, supplied with a valve for use at 35psi-Required temperature range: ambient to +350deg. C-Required maximum temperature range: -100deg C up to +350 deg. C-High Temperature package- includes increased wall thickness-Door hinged left, latched right-Open castered stand-Controller, supplied as a remote via 6 ft umbilical **Chamber Two (2)**-Interior workspace dimensions of 25H x 25W x 25D-New Graphite Grey powdercoat-208V/30A-L-N2 cooling, supplied with a valve for use at 35psi-Required temperature range: ambient to +350deg. C-Required maximum temperature range: -100deg C up to +350 deg. C-High Temperature package- includes increased wall thickness-Door hinged left, latched right-Open castered stand-Controller, supplied as a remote via 6 ft umbilical NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Sigma Systems because they have Tenneyenvironmental chambers that have narrower temperature ranges (-75 Deg. C to 200 Deg C)and slower ramp rates 13 Deg C/minute.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to Janicea McCree at 301-286-9159 or Janicea.L.McCree@nasa.gov, notlater than 4:30 p.m. eastern time on September 26, 2009. Such capabilities/qualificationswill be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct thisprocurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to competethis proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to thisnotice, is solely within the discretion of the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
