- Based on the availability of funds in accordance with FAR 52.232-18, Dyess AFB, Texas, intends to make a single award for the purchase a quantity of 80 Magnum fixed wall pallet containers with Magnum four inch snap lock lids. The container part number is PC484429 and the lid part number is TL484404. The container needs to have beveled fork straps, positive interlock stacking, smooth reinforced corners and easy forklift entry. Made of HDPE plastic and come with a three year warranty. Outside dimensions: 47.9MM Length X 41.3MM Width X 29.2MM Height. Inside dimensions: 45.2MM Length X 41.3MM Width X 24.0MM Height. Tare weight: 95LBS. Load capacity: 1220 LBS. Lids need to be black in color. (Brand name or equal with salient features) The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on technically acceptable and price. This procurement will be a competitive small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 921120 and a size standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on www.FBO.gov or about 24 September 2009. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this solicitation posting frequently for any updates or amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal must have Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx. You must register on CCR in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dunn & Bradstreet. Registering may take up to two (2) weeks to process. You may email or fax your quote.
