- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9124Q-09-P-0264 and is issued as a Request for quote, unless otherwise indicated herein. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This requirement is Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. The solicitation will start on the date this solicitation is posted https://www.fbo.gov and will end on Sunday 27 September 2009 09:00:00.0 Mountain Daylight Time. FOB Destination shall be White Sands Missile Range, NM 88002-5201. The Department of Army White Sands Missile Range Mission & Installation Contracting Command requires the following items, Exact Match Only: Camera Timing Amplifier (CTA) is to provide two time code outputs (in the IRIG A or B time code formats) suitable for recording serial time on digital cameras. The primary source of time code is GPS time. If the GPS signal is lost the unit will have the capability of receiving a VHF transmitter signal. The unit will operate from an AC power but incorporate an internal battery to power the unit for an excess of four hours should primary AC power fail or be disconnected. Front panel control will include a power on/off switch, front panel LEDs to indicate power on, battery under charge, battery low, GPS receiver locked, BNC connectors include 1pps output, IRIG A output, IRIG B output, GPS Antenna input. Size of the unit is 6 H x 9 D x 8 L portable case with handle. GPS Receiver Specifications: Receiver 12 channel; External antenna with mounting bracket Front Panel: LCD Display Time & GPS status information; 2 line by 16 characters per line Indicators Power indicator; Battery charging; Low battery; GPS synchronization Power 115 VAC, 60Hz; Internal battery and charger; 4 hours of operation battery Environmental 0-50 degrees C; 10% to 90% non-condensing Outputs: IRIG A 0-5 Vpp amplitude; 2:1 to 4:1 modulation ratio; Transformer isolated; BNC Isolated IRIG B 0-5 Vpp amplitude; 2:1 to 4:1 modulation ratio; Transformer isolated; BNC Isolated 1PPS TTL level; 100 microseconds; BNC Delivery Must Be Made within 90 days After Receipt of Offer (ARO).
