Description
The United States Army, Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center locatedat Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806 is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources to fabricate, test and deliver one (1) Apache helicopter based Ballistic Firing Test Set within 15 months. These test sets are used to ground fire Hydra 70 remote set fuzed cargo rounds for engineering and lot acceptance test purposes. These test sets are ground fire version of the Apache Helicopter Rocket firing system. The Apache Ballistic Firing Test Set (ABFTS) shall be based on the Apache Rocket Management System called the Pylon Interface Unit (PIU). Outside dimensions and external cabling of the AFBTS shall be the same as current Cobra helicopter based BFTSs.The ABFTS system is built to a performance specification. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. The Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future production efforts. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will made as a result of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. Interested parties are requested to provide information regarding relevant capabilities and manufacturing experience, including a brief summary of their companys capabilities, manufacturing and testing experience, personnel and management.
