Description

Justification & Approval AFDW A7KS/GCIC/RMK contracting office, Hampton, VA intends to award a sole source purchase to Tactical Communications Group LLC (TCG). TCG will provide Battlefield Operations Support System (BOSS) Upgrades for 3 BOSS units at the 82CSS location in Langley AFB, VA. The purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR 13.3 and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(c). The anticipated award is 28 Sep 09. Please note that this is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the service listed above. The Sole Source Justification and Approval is attached. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
