- The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for chaplain services to be furnished to the VA Medical Center, 4801 Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64128. Services include Sunday Chapel, and weekly pastoral care to patients, family members and staff on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Qualifications include: (a) Must be an Ordained Minister (b) Must be Citizen of the United States; (c) Must be endorsed by Veterans Affairs chaplaincy by the appropriate adjudicatory; and (d) Must have completed two or more units of Clinical Pastor Education. VA experience is preferred. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 813110 and the Size Standard is $7.0 Million. The acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 13.5 Test Program; simplified acquisition procedures apply and FAR Part 12, Commercial Services. This requirement is set aside for 100% small business participation. Proposals will be evaluated on technical evaluation factors and past performance in acccordance with evaluation procedures in the the solicitation. Request for Quotation will be available on or about September 10, 2009. Due date for receipt of offers is September 21, 2009, 4:00 p.m. CST. Anticipated award date is September 28, 2009.
