Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is FA8601-09-T-0077 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. FUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. Funds expiration date is 30 Sep 2009. The 88th Contracting Squadron, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the following requirement: CLIN 0001: Automatic Viscometer WIH BUILT IN XSAMPLE 460 and consisting of the following: Dyanmic viscosity: 0.2 to 20000 mPa.s Kinematic viscosity: 0.2 to 20,000 mm2/s Max fill viscosity: 1000 mPa.s at 20 degrees C Density: 0.65 to 3b/cm3 Repeatability: typical 0.10% /0.0002 g/cm3 /0.005 degrees C Reproducibliity: typical 0.35% / 0.0005 g/cm3 / 0.02 degrees C Temperature Range: 15 to 105 degrees C and all accessoy items: Keyboard Printer including cable Printer connection cable Drying cartridge 3 ribbon cartridge for printer 12- 57.5x50 standard printer paper This acquisition Full and Open Competition and is under North American Industry Classification System code 334516.
