- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) San Diego, CA, Port Hueneme Site is currently soliciting offers for Technical Support Services. The services will be performed at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest Site Point Mugu (FRCSW PM). FRCSW PM is responsible for Operational (O) Level maintenance, Intermediate (I) Level maintenance and Depot (D) Level maintenance of U.S. Navy aircraft and aircraft components. It is confronted with challenges to sustain equipment reliability and personnel performance levels during production "high demand" periods and reduced manpower due to deployment commitments. The functions to be performed include management of the Central Technical Publications Library, Production Control, Maintenance Administration and Support, Quality Assurance, Material Control, Power Plants, Airframes, Avionics, Support Equipment, AIRSpeed, and Facilities. The NAICS code is 488190 and the Small Business Size Standard is $7 million. It is anticipated that a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) performance based contract will be awarded with a one-year base and four one-year options. This requirement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. All contractual/technical questions must be submitted and received in writing (e-mail) no later than seven (7) days prior to the closing date. Telephone questions will not be accepted. The RFP release date is on or about 7 October 2009 and will close 30 days thereafter. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The RFP will be available for review and downloading at the following websites: www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. In addition, offerors shall complete an electronic Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. CAUTION TO OFFERORS: NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION AT GREATER THAN REASONABLE PRICES.
