Description
W91QV1-09-R-0077 U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) intend to award a contract to FastLane Emergency Vehicles for Fire and Emergency Command vehicles at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. This sole source award is based under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1b, For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization) to FastLane Emergency Vehicles 37241 East Richardson Lane Purcellville, Va. 20132. This requirement is for manufacturing custom, specialty response and command vehicles for public safety. The NAICS code is 336211 with a size standard of 1000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement, no later than 10:00 am EST, 28 September 2009. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offerors bona fide capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 5MB.
