- Travis AFB intends to award a brand name or equivalent purchase order for Wells Cargo Trailer. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36, effective 11 Aug 2009, DCN 20090825, and AFAC 2009-0803. This acquistion will be brand name. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336212. The business size standard is 500. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 2330. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3715. This request for quotation consists of the following: WELLS CARGO TRAILER: Requirement Description: This request is solicited as a brand name or equivalent. Contractor must propose a product that has been Airlift Certified by AMC USAF and provide documentation. Contractor must be able to service the trailer within 6-8 hours of receiving call for maintenance. Can I get a drawing on this trailer? A: No Drawing is available 2- Line #6 is requesting padlock brackets on doors with bolts - are they referring to the cam bar handle receiver? A: The customer wants bolts, not screws, to hinder possible unauthorized access to the trailer when it is locked up. 3- Line Item # 7 is requesting a walk on roof. Could you get a total capacity we need to figure? I A: It needs to be able to hold 1-2 people (500lbs) 4- On line item #29 it specifies 30 ft. of e-track per trailer. The locations they have do not match 30 ft. (This is where a drawing would be helpful) A: The mast is a t most 40-50lbs. About 6 inches in diameter and 5 ft tall. 5- Line Item #31 Is requesting a reinforced front to accommodate a customer supplied mast. I need to get the full information on the mast, weight, height, width, etc.. A: See response to question 4. (CAD unavailable) 6- Line Item #39 I need to get the length of each light? A: Length of light not important 7- Line item# 47 Is request a manual transfer for portable generator. Are we supplying the separable cord between the motor base and manual transfer? A: Yes 8- Line item #57 Would it be possible to get a brand name of the box requested? A: Brand name unimportant as long as it meets the requirement. 9- Line Item #35 They are requesting two separate compartments, does this mean two compartments that are 60" Long? A: No they are not 60" long.
