- This solicitation is to procure one Powder Coating System. The specifications are as follows: The oven working dimensions required are 8 wide by 8 high by 10 long. The spray enclosure working dimensions are to be 10 wide by 8 high by 10 long. The booth and oven are required to be 480vac3ph. 60 Hz. The electrical heat required for the booth is 480vac 3 ph. 60 Hz. The spray application unit is required to be box feed. The booth will be constructed of 18 gallon Metal or better. The Exhaust system needs to be a three stage filtration system with an initial blanket filter, intermediate bag filter and final to be HEPA. The quote should include all equipment and supplies necessary to start powder coating operations. It should also include any spare consumables needed for spray system and powder 25 lbs of black powder, 25lbs of red powder and 25lbs of blue powder. Training is required on equipment use and maintenance and installation. The price of delivery to the destination should be included in the quote. The delivery address is 1397 Powerhouse Road, Shorterville, AL 36373. The equipment is required to be delivered no later than January 29, 2010. Offerors shall clearly state the estimated delivery time. It is anticipated that a fixed Price contract will be awarded. This procurement is a set aside for small business under NAICS 325510. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the flowing website Https://www.fbo.gov on or about 25 September 2009. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format. Therefore, it is the bidders responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to the solicitation.
