- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 Contracting Office, Leavenworth, KS intends to award a sole-source procurement, firm-fixed price, for a service contract to General Electric Company (GE Health Care) provide all labor, materials, and parts to maintain GE Diagnostic Imaging Workstations at the VA Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. The contract will be for the period of October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010 with four (4) one (1) year options. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.301 (a) (2) (ii) (A) and (B): only one responsible source. This is not a solicitation announcement.
