- This is a combine synopsis/solicitation. Other Than Full and Open Competition, the Air Force plans to procure various parts for the Usach Grinder Model 200-S1 currently being used by the Air Force. The parts must be compatible with the existing machine and comply with the form, fit, and function of the unit. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must obtain a DUNS number and be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the Government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and "active" CCR will result in an award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror. The entire solicitation will be made available only on FedBizOpps (FBO) website at: https://www.fbo.gov All current/future information about this acquisition, i.e. solicitation, amendments, purchase specification, and Q &A's will be distributed through FBO. Interested parties must monitor the solicitation notice to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding the requirement. Any questions regarding this acquisition should be emailed directly to Hope Gonzales at Hope.Gonzales@hill.af.mil and must be submitted in a timely manner. AUTHORITY: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1), JUSTIFICATION: SUPPLIES REQUIRED ARE FROM ONLY ONE OR A LIMITED NUMBER OF RESPONSIBLE SOURCE(S) AND NO OTHER TYPE OF SUPPLIES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. THE PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IS FOR SUPPLIES AND SERVICES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE, OR A LIMITED NUMBER OF SOURCES UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.301-1. INTERESTED PERSONS MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT OR SUBMIT PROPOSALS. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. HOWEVER, ALL PROPOSALS RECEIVED PRIOR TO THE CLOSING DATE ON THE SOLICITATION WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE GOVERNMENT. A DETEMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO COMPETE THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLEY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL NORMALY BE CONSIDERED SOLEY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. SPECIFICATIONS, PLANS, OR DRAWING RELATING TO THE PROCUREMENT DESCRIBED ARE INCOMPLETE OR NOT AVAILABLE AND CANNOT BE FURNISHED BY THE GOVERNMENT. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT OWN THE DATA OR RIGHTS TO THE DATA NEEDED TO PURCHASE THIS ITEM FROM ADDITIONAL SOURCES.
