Market research was previously conducted and it has been determined this is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1. A competitive re-procurement package is not available. Envisioned Contract Requirements: 1) 4 lots of MoRE and CoRP LRUs, at least 66 kits in total from 2010-2013 (264 total, 132 MoRE and 132 CoRP LRUs). 2) 4 lots of MoRE and CoRP spares and support equipment including 36 MoREs, 30 CoRPs, 14 I/F Cables, 14 Adapters, and 5 Universal System Test Benches (USTBs) from 2010 to 2013. 3) Engineering changes to be cut-in to production MoREs and CoRPs and interfaces with the B-1B radar system. 4) Retrofit of hardware or software changes with B-1B software block upgrades. 5) All tech orders necessary for three-level maintenance. 6) All requirements that support install on the B-1B and to interface with the existing B-1B weapon system. The purpose of this synopsis is to comply with the requirements of FAR Part 5.201 and 5.203 to determine wheter any competitive sources exist and to notify industry of the impending action so that possible subcontracting opportunities may be pursued. THERE IS NO REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL to be released to any contractor other than Northrop- Grumman Systems Corp. REQUESTS FOR AN RFP WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE..
