- RECOVERY - IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS PROVIDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND RE-INVESTMENT ACT OF 2009, Pub. L. 111-5, THE GOVERNMENT POSTS THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE AN 8(a) SOLE SOURCE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO KEN TILLAGE CONSTRUCTION LLC., 1824 N. ACADIAN THRUWAY WEST, BATON ROUGE, LA 70802. THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: Project shall include the furnishing of all materials, labor, supplies, and equipment necessary for the demolition and replacement of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning system with a variable air volume (VAV) system at the 2 OG - Bldg 5341. Perform work in accordance with this Statement of Work, AE drawings and AE specifications. Contractor shall provide all necessary electrical, piping, valves, ductwork, insulation, controls, diffusers, grilles, fittings, dampers, equipment, etc. as required to install and support a fully functional VAV HVAC system. Pursuant to section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637 (a)), and in accordance with 13 CFR 124.1-1(c) and FAR 19.8. The Small Business Administration has accepted this requirement on behalf of KEN TILLAGE CONSTRUCTION LLC.
