Description
JOTFOC for DTW009 DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard intends to purchase a tuition cost of sixty (60) Coast Guard students to attend the Career Enrichment Course (500906) for FY10. The course should be offered 3/22 through 26, 2010 and 08/23 through 27,2010 in Yorktown, VA. This proposed procurement is for a service for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis to The PERFORMANCE INSTITUTE located at 1515 North Courthouse Road in Arlington, VA 22201. In order to comply with the requirements in this Solicitation NOTE22-DTW009, the responses should be based on our interpretation of the general requirements provided below. Note 22. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within time and date of publication of this "Special Note 22" will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration and submit a Cost Proposal by 9:00 am, ET, September 30th,2009. Offerors may either submit one copy of the quote to MOHAMED FILALI, USCG Headquarters Support Command, Code A-3, Room B411, 2100 Second St. SW, Washington, DC 20593 by mail, fax (202-372-4905) or email. Electronic transmissions to Mohamed.Filali@uscg.mil are acceptable, but must be timely. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to ensure the proposal is received by the date and time shown above. Evaluation Criteria: Award based on lowest cost technically acceptable.
