Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) has plans to award a firm-fixed price Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0026 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516 to procure retrofit kits for the F/A-18 E/F that will enable the USN to modify Block II Super Hornets with Fiber Channel Network Switches and 8X10 Displays. This effort will also consist of Boeing providing technical services to install 8X10 retrofit kits into the Block II Super Hornets. The duration of the subject DO will be one base and one option years in Fiscal Years 10 and 11. MDC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and supplier of the F/A-18 Weapon System, and only MDC has the F/A-18 peculiar engineering data, capability, resources and expertise required to perform NAVAIR’s requirements The primary POC for this acquisition is Mrs. Ozdem S.
