- RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICTATION NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT TOPAINT PUBLIC INFORMATION BUILDING, PUBLIC RESTROOMS AND COMMITTALSHELTERS A THRU F AT FLORIDA NATIONAL CEMETERY This project is being funded from the American Recovery and ReinvestmentAct of 2009. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National CemeteryAdministration, is soliciting bids under Solicitation NumberVA-786A-09-RA-0169 for the following: Contractor shall provide all professional services to include allsupervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment and testing to paint theexterior of the Public Information Building, Public Restrooms, committalShelters A thru F, and associated wooden trellis between and adjacent tobuildings and committal shelters at the Florida National Cemetery inaccordance with the project drawings and specifications. COST MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and$100,000. CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period is approximately 120 calendardays from date of receipt of Notice To Proceed. NAICS CODE: 238320 SIZE STANDARD: $14.0 Million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-RICECONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALLBUSINESS SET ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis underFederal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible servicedisabled veteran owned small business responding to this solicitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting ofthe Invitation for Bid (IFB) details and specifications may be accessedONLY via FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No telephone requestswill be accepted. The solicitation and drawings will be released forissue on or about October 13, 2009.
