- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912PL-09-D-0082-0002. 1. Prepare a Work Plan to perform the following work. 2. Prepare Shop Drawings of pre-fabricated mezzanine with structural calculations. Prepare shop drawings of concrete floor modifications and foundations. Shop drawings and calculations shall be approved and stamped by a licensed structural engineer. Provide shop drawings as necessary for any other work activity to include any electrical and HVAC work. Provide as-built drawings in AutoCAD format. 3. Provide a pre-manufactured free standing structural steel mezzanine. Mezzanine shall run along three walls of the existing BFH weight room. Approximate linear dimensions shall be 30 ft x 42 ft x 30 ft and shall be 12 feet wide. Height of mezzanine will be determined by COR. Structural steel stairs shall be provided for access. All work shall be in accordance with applicable Codes. Load shall be calculated based on Codes and expect use of weight and exercise equipment. 4. Provide a steel plated galvanized floor over corrugated steel deck as shown as one of the manufacturers floor options. Provide rubberized interlocking mat over the steel floor suitable for heavy traffic areas and exercise machine use. Rubber flooring shall be similar to Rubber Flooring Inc, 36x36x3/8 interlocking rubber mat. 5. Provide lights under new mezzanine similar to the existing room based on Ft Huachuca lighting guidelines/regulations and applicable Codes. 6. Remove and relocate any items on the walls that will interfere with mezzanine installation or equipment/personnel operation of the new mezzanine floor. 7. Repair and items damaged and touch up paint any surfaces that are disturbed from this construction. 8. Ensure that new mezzanine height does not cause disruption or conflicts the existing lighting and HAVC air diffusers. A minimum 8 feet shall be provided between mezzanine surface and any overhead obstructions. 9. Remove and replace existing exercise equipment in the room. Space shall be provided in Barnes Field House for storage. Protect all access ways in BFH from damage during.
