- SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICAITON F2MUEW9071A0020000AA The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Mathworks Inc. on a sole source basis. The Mathworks modeling and simulation software and componenets reqired as part of the Government owned Systems program. The software must be 100% compatible product (menu structure, keystroke shortcuts, equation editing, math representation, code generation mechanics, and ability to read/write 100% compatible uncompelled and compiled code)with the equipment and will be able to service the equipment as required under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals In Accordance with FAR 6.301(d) the Government will consider any proposal received by the due date for this combined synopsis/solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25 and DFARS Change Notice 20080513.
