- Information is sought from industry on the domestic supply of cyanogen chloride and hydrogen cyanide in small cylinders (d 10 lb size) as pure liquefied gases for test and evaluation purpose. Potential suppliers must be able to provide either of the gases from solely domestic sources and must be able to identify the originating entity if repackaging or reselling, as well as providing information on purity and added stabilizers. Suppliers should identify potential shipping method, packaging, and the quantity capable to be shipped monthly, and indicate compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. Information on production methods employed by historical, current, or prospective suppliers is also desired. Those with prospective capability should include information on the means and barriers to establishing production. The government does not presently intend to award a contract, but wants to obtain price, delivery, other market information, or capabilities for planning purposes. Response to this notice is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
