Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract in accordance to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), authorized or required by statue. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Tucson Sector requires the installation of Cox Cable. The estimated value $33,845.43. Cox Cable is the only company that can provide cable at 2430 S Swan Road, Tucson, AZ. A purchase order will be issued for this requirement. This specific cable requirement is available exclusively through the manufacturer and no other source can provide the service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 517919 and the size standard is $23 million.
