Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS)has an urgent need for services of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for locum tenens assignment at the VA Pittsburgh University Drive C division, Pittsburgh PA 15240; for the period 10/29/009 through 12/4/09. Since lead time for selection is short, and since successful candidate must be credentialed and privileged by VAPHS prior to starting work; candidates who have already received privileges at VAPHS, and/or candidates who are currently enrolled or have previously enrolled in VA's VETPRO database, are highly preferred. VAPHS has a nine room OR with a schedule of 7 rooms per day. There are approximately 11 CRNAs in the group. Candidate's tour of duty would be one of 2-3 varying 8-hour shifts within the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Beeper call and/or overtime hours may be required. The RFQ (Request for Quotations) will be issued on or about 10/1/09 with details as to scope of services and other candidate requirements of this assignment, as well as administrative information for potential businesses or individuals wishing to respond to the RFQ. Quotations/Candidate proposals can only be submitted as a RESPONSE to the RFQ, after it is issued and posted here.
