Description

RFP with complete requirements for Motorola Radios THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and the RFP N68335-09-R-0342 solicitation is attached to this advertisement. A partial description of the requirement follows (see attached solicitation for complete requirements): NAWCAD Intends to acquire on a brand name basis from the manufacturer or an authorized distributor the following Motorola Radios: 38 each, customized XTL 5000 VHF Mobile 10 to 50 Watt units (P/N M20KSS9W1 N); 38 each, customized XTL 5000 UHF Mobile 10 to 40 Watt units (P/N M20QSS9W1 N); 36 each, customized XTL 5000 UHF 25-110W, 380-470MHZ units (P/N M20QTS9PW1 N); 800 each, customized Portable Astro Digital XTS 5000 units (P/N H18DQC9PW5 N); 72 each, 762-870 MHZ 3DB Low Profile Antennas (P/N HAF4013); 42 each, USB Channel Programming Cables (P/N HKN6184); 42 each GCAI Keyloading Cable Adapers (P/N HKN6182); and 36 each 2.0DB Gain 380-470MHZ Widband Antennas (P/N HAE6013). The requested equipment must be configured as presented in the the RFP. Only new OEM radios may be offered; reconditioned or used items will not be accepted. All items shall be preserved, packaged, packed, and marked in accordance with best commercial practices. The radios units require UID marking. Delivery must be Delivered to St. Inigoes, MD 20684 by 15 December 2009. The anticipated award date prior to 22 October 2009. Units will be shipped FOB Destination. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price (FFP). This solicitation is subject to the following Provisions 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items The award will be subject those cluases and provisions plus additional ones included in RFP N68335-09-R-0342, attached to this combined synopsis/soliciation. Offerors must complete the attached solicitation and submit it for consideration. Please submit responses to: Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, Attn: Code 25222RB, Robert Battaglia, Hwy 547, Bldg. 562-3, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Electronic submissions are acceptable if sent to robert.battaglia@navy.mil. Facimile submissions will not be accepted. The closeout for this solicitation is 2 PM. October 14, 2009. Offerors must acquaint themselves with the new regulations concerning Commercial Item Acquisition contained at FAR Subpart 12 and must ensure that all Representations and Certifications are executed and returned as required in this synopsis/solicitation. Large businesses will be required to submit current commercial small business subcontracting plan prior to award.
