- Note 1: This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. The successful offeror must be lincensed and registered to perform work in the country of Japan. Note 2: Solicitation issuance and closing dates are tentative. It is the offeror's responsibility to check the firm dates at block 6 & 8 of SF 1449, once the solicitation is released, to ensure submission of your offer in a timely manner. If you have any questions about the release date of a solicitation please contact the Contract Administrator or Contracting Officer listed in this announcement. 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, management, tools, equipment, transportation, materials and any other items or services necessary to support the U.S. Army/Japanese Ground Self Defense Forces (JGSDF) bilateral Field Training Exercise (FTX) Orient Shield 2010 (OS10) at Kirihata Bivouac Area, Camp Imazu, Shiga-Ken, Japan in accordance with commercial standards, local standards, Japanese ordinances and Japanese laws. These services shall be performed at the same levels as in the commercial marketplace to the maximum extent possible. 1.1. TYPE OF SERVICES REQUIRED. The contractor shall perform the following listed services: (a)The contractor shall perform the required Dining Facility (DFAC)/Mess Attendant services at Kirihata Bivouac Area, Camp Imazu, Shiga-Ken, Japan. (b)The contractor shall perform refuse, segregate, collection and transportation of food waste and trash services at Kirihata Bivouac Area to Ootomo Barracks Area, Camp Imazu, Shiga-ken, Japan.
