- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY ISAVAILABLE ONLY TO SIA CONSTRUCTION INC. AUTHORIZED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY ANDREINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009.NASA/JSC has a requirement to provide demolition, removal, repair controls andprotection, of Building 9 South (Shop Area) roofing systems that were damaged duringHurricane Ike in 2008. NASA/JSC intends to award a firm fixed price contract to SIA Construction Inc., under theSmall Business Administration 8(a) Program, using the Partnership Agreement between NASAand the Small Business Administration in accordance with FAR 19.8 and the authority 10U.S.C. 2304(c)(5).Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.This announcement will not result in a Request for Proposal; this announcement is forinformational purposes only.An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
