- Acquisition Description: Contracting Office: Department of the Air Force, Electronic Systems Center, Headquarters 754th Electronic Systems Group, Enterprise Services Division (HQ 754 ELSG/ES), Acquisition Directorate, 200 East Moore Drive, Maxwell Air Force Base - Gunter Annex, Alabama 36114-3000 and HQ 754 Directorate of Operations ((HQ 754 ELSG/DO) has a Brand Name or Equal requirement for (a) the purchase of KVM Master Console for SAF/FMP. This console must have the following capabilities: 32 port, ability to extend (daisy-chain) connectivity from an existing Raritan MX Console Model MX4, 2-user admin remote network access, Dual power supply, Video resolutions up to 1600 X 1200, 128-bit SSL encryption. Required accessories include: 25 ea. Computer Interface Modules (CIM) used to connect KVM ports to server ports, 15 ea. 10FT Cat5E patch cables, and10 ea. 15FT Cat5E patch cables. "This is a request for quote only. This requirement will close on 21 September 2009 at 1200 hours Central Standard Time (CST). All submissions should be e-mailed to john.crowell@gunter.af.mil. "An ESC Ombudsman has been appointed to consider and facilitate the resolution of concerns for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendation to the Contracting Officer for resolution. In addition, AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, will be included in this acquisition's solicitation and the resulting contract.
