Description
Recovery. This is a special notice and is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors under the Medium & Heavy Vehicles Automotive Program. These delivery orders are for the purchase of Hybrid Electric Buses. In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the Government posts this notice stating the issuance of twenty - eight (28) delivery orders completed on 17 September 2009, made against an established General Services Administration's, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price Contract numbers GS-30F-S0012/GS-30F-S0015 in the total amount of $8,004,684.30 to multiple vendors under GSA Schedule contracts. 1). GS-30F-S0015/Capitol Coachworks for the acquisition of twenty-seven (27) Hybrid Buses: twenty-five (25) 36 Passenger Medium Duty Shuttle Buses and two (2) Hybrid 28 Adult Passenger Medium Duty Shuttle Bus in the total amount of $7,839,744.23. 2). GS-30F-S0012/Navistar for the acquisition of one (1) Hybrid 36 Adult Passenger Type C work buses in the amount of $164,940.07 for various Federal Agencies using the Recovery Act (ARRA) funds. GSA is a mandatory source for all new non-tactical medium & heavy vehicles for executive agencies governed by the 42 Federal Property Management Regulations (FPMR) 101-26.501-1. The Standard Line Items for these purchased vehicles are listed as follows: Items # 363/359/321A. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE UNDER CONTRACTS # GS-30F-S0012 (Navistar) and GS-30F-S0015 (Capitol Coachworks, Inc)
